Friday, August 28th Quicksie 98.3 and 94.3 the Wolf invited listeners to pledge funds to Kosair
Children's Hospital (Children's Hospital Foundation) in the "Just For Kids" radio-thon. Both
stations promoted the cause from 6a to 6p on Friday, featuring local families who have experienced
the professionalism and care of Kosair Childrens Hospital and garnering $10,022.11 for the
hospital. Upon hitting the $10,000 mark, radio personalities Greg Milby and Paul Leidy shed their
locks, keeping their promise to listeners that they would shave their heads.
